You're Going Where?

Hey everyone!

It's been about a week since I've last posted, and I feel as though it's time to get my blogging on!

Over the past week I've done A LOT! First and foremost, I turned 19, which is super bittersweet, but also really awesome! I've also gone to the beach, and consumed 2 more books (I get it, I'm a nerd).

As a lot of you know, I am heading off to Nashville tomorrow and I am way beyond excited! I've never been there, so this is something new for me and I can't wait to say goodbye to summer in the most fun was possible... traveling!

I've heard so many good things about Nashville, and I can't wait to finally see what all of the hype is about! I honestly don't think I'll sleep tonight... or tomorrow night, since we aren't actually going to be there until Saturday!

In other news, the beach trip was a success and I had so much fun seeing some of my college friends who I haven't seen since school let out! It was an amazing way to spend my 19th, and I can't wait to move in and be reunited once again!

It was super hot, and I thought I was going to get heat stroke, but hey, what better way to get heat stroke than on the sky ride next to the Jersey Shore house! (Ps, the roof of the Jersey Shore house is still exactly the way it was when the show was airing... hot tub and all!)

The 2 books I've consumed this week are Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson, and The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. I had heard such good things about Truly Devious, so I had to pick it up, and it didn't disappoint! It a YA true crime/ mystery novel and it was so good! I highly recommend, it got 4.5/5 stars from me! I had previously read the Summer I Turned Pretty when I was 12, and after my sister purchased the series a few weeks ago, I decided what better time to reread it than during the summer! This series used to be my favorite of all time, so to reread it was so much fun! It made me laugh and smile just as much as it did then and I highly recommend it as a beach read! This one also got a 4.5/5 stars from me!
