This weekend, I took a visit to my future home. This coming fall, I will be moving to the city, and it will be a huge change for me. I come from a small town, so this will all be totally new, but I think I'm ready for this new chapter in my life. Ever since I was little, I have always loved going to the city and spending time there. I haven't had much time there, because my family highly disagrees with my opinions on this busy lifestyle. The first time I visited the Temple University campus was in September of my senior year. I instantly fell in love with the beauty and energy of it, and set out to make it my home that next year. My dad did not want this to happen at all. He was set on keeping me close to home, and away from the city. He did end up letting me apply to go to school there, with hopes that I would end up changing my mind. This did not happen. In March, I got accepted to my dream school, and quickly committed. Over the past weekend, my family and I went again to visit the campus. I am still just as in love with it as I was in September. This time, my dad came on the college visit with us. I think he feels a little bit better about my decision, but he will probably always be worried and I don't blame him! Now, since I have committed to this school, I now have to find a roommate! I was expecting this task to be a lot of fun and I thought I would make tons of new friends. False. Finding a roommate has to be the hardest part of the whole thing. Nobody responds or they already have a roommate. All I'm going to say is, PLEASE let me get a roommate soon!
