A Beachy State of Mind

Goodbye rain, and hello sunshine! It has finally stopped raining in Pennsylvania for the time being, and I am beyond excited about it! I currently have 2 more days of work left until I leave for the beach, and I can't wait!! (This is going to be a long couple of days!)

Since it's Monday, I might as well recap my weekend. I had an awesome weekend filled with sun and good times. After the rain ended, it seems as though every day is significantly better. I mean come on, it's rained nearly every single day for an entire year... I think it's time for a week of sunshine and good times!

For those of you who didn't know, I got a summer internship at Acts Retirement Community; corporate. Although it's a marketing internship, and not a PR internship, it's still good experience, and you know what they say.. the more the merrier. While I'm at my internship, I get a lot of writing done, and it's where I write the majority of these blog posts! (During my lunch break of course!) I have met some awesome people and made great connections while being here, and it's crazy to think that my time with Acts will be over in 1 short month!

In other news, I've gotten to see almost all of my college friends recently, and it has been so great! I cannot wait to move into our apartment next year, and hopefully see them all over my birthday weekend next month!

I'll be sure to keep you all posted on my beach trip this week!
